J & S Landscaping finds the
optimal potential of every yard and works to make every yard
unique and reflective
of our patrons’ lifestyles and
personalities. Before the landscaping process can begin,
a site visit and consultation must first take place. We pay
special attention to our customers needs, likes and dislikes.
This ensures that both the consulter and the prospective
client are on the same page.
In addition to paying close attention to customer needs,
we also make sure to use plants that will thrive in the areas
we are working with. Plants that are low maintenance, drought
tolerant, and contribute four seasonal interest are usually
the first on every property owners list. We, however, make
sure to go a step further. If a site requires water tolerant,
deep shade tolerant, or deer tolerant plants, we are sure
to meet those requirements as well. If there are issues with
allergies, request for child / pet safe plants, we take this
into consideration. Also, being aware of views from certain
rooms in the house, is just as important as how the landscape
will look as
you enter the property from the street.
Not all plants can be installed using the exact same method,
or planted in the same soils. For example, some plants have
smaller root systems which require shallow planting, while
some plants need to be planted in sandier soils for optimum
drainage. Our knowledge of plant physiology and our years
of experience assist us in all phases of landscape design
and installation. These combined skills guarantee that the
landscapes we install will grow and flourish for years to
come.
